About MyFinanceMemo
Your trusted source for practical finance knowledge and honest market insights — built for everyday Malaysians.
Who We Are
MyFinanceMemo is a Malaysian personal finance and market insights blog with one simple goal: to make financial knowledge accessible to everyone. We believe that understanding money should not be complicated, expensive, or reserved only for those with a finance degree.
Whether you are a fresh graduate trying to figure out where to put your first paycheck, a young professional looking to grow your wealth, or someone simply trying to make sense of what is happening in the markets — MyFinanceMemo is built for you.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to share honest, practical and relevant financial knowledge with Malaysians. We cover everything from EPF and ASB to gold investing, property, budgeting, and what is happening in the local and global markets — all explained in plain language without the jargon.
We started MyFinanceMemo because we noticed a gap. There is a lot of financial content out there, but most of it is either too technical, too sales-driven, or not relevant to the Malaysian context. We wanted to change that — to create a space where Malaysians can come to learn, compare, and make better financial decisions with confidence.
What We Cover

Our Promise to You
We will always be honest. If something is risky, we will say so. If a product is not worth it, we will tell you. We do not write to sell — we write to inform. Every article on MyFinanceMemo goes through careful research and is written with one question in mind: does this actually help the reader make a better financial decision?
We are not licensed financial advisors and nothing on this site constitutes financial advice. But we are passionate about financial literacy, and we believe that a well-informed Malaysian makes better decisions for themselves, their family and their future.
“Financial freedom is not about how much you earn. It is about how much you know and how wisely you act on that knowledge.”
